Our Sunday morning cycle ride is usually 50 miles to a number of cycle friendly cafe,s and maybe a refreshing pint of bitter on the way back, we can cater for all ages starting from 14, however, 5o miles is a lot for younger children but we can do shorter rides for any youngster who seems very keen ! Saturday, 6th March, Birmingham City archaeologist Dr. Michael Hodder, will be the speaker at a free lecture at Sutton Coldfield Library at 2.30pm. The talk is called '10,000 years of Archaeology' and will discuss the excavation of a stone-age settlement dating back 10,000 years in Birmingham, and the studies at Sutton Park.

From now until the end of mid April an art exhibition showing the work of husband and wife artists Colin and Doreen Clifton at Highbury Theatre Centre, Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield. Paintings include landscapes, floral, and wildlife subjects and can be viewed on weekday evenings from 7.30 - 9.00pm and on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am - 12.00 noon.
