Free Flower arranging tips, tricks and advice from Gill at Streetly Flower Arrangers Club

Soak floral foam in deep water, wait until the surface is covered and remove from the water, this takes about 30 seconds, do not push the foam down in the water, do not hold under the running tap, as this will leave dry patches in the centre of the oasis, a little eatra time to soak, gives better results !

For Christmas floral arrangements, a light dusting of flour on leaves that have been given a shine with oil, gives a look of snow for winter theme.

To remove stains left by Lilly stamens, remove with selotape, do not rub.
